Shell Global Solutions (UK)Habits are automatic behaviours triggered by features of the environment (such as the time of day, the place you’re in and the people you’re with). If this is the case, then changing features in the environment should disrupt habitual action. I intend to study the potential of environmental changes, as disrupters of habit, for encouraging more sustainable car-driving and car-choice behaviour.
