You\u00a0can of course take it in smaller steps and also repeat elements of it at\u00a0<\/em><em>any time.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Many people find working with data and generating an analysis from data to\u00a0be daunting aspects of the research process. If you have collected data,\u00a0but are wondering what to do with it, or are not sure how to set about\u00a0analysis, this course will provide you with some guidance and some &#8216;safe&#8217;\u00a0experience using a particular approach. It involves working with some\u00a0real data that has been edited and anonymised.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the following video (46 mins) Professor Paul Atkinson discusses the\u00a0principles and processes of analytic induction (sometimes known as\u00a0grounded theory) and introduces the data that will be used in the\u00a0exercise. Look at day 1\u00a0and derive what you think are useful, plausible and productive lines of\u00a0enquiry to develop.
