The call for proposals for the WISERD 2016 Conference is now open. We encourage all PhD students to participate and share in this enriching opportunity by submitting a full paper and/or taking part in some of the conference competitions. We are sponsoring two competitions, and abstracts for the poster competition must be submitted by this deadline.

Student Poster Competition

Together with The Learned Society for Wales, we are sponsoring a student poster competition. As in previous years, currently-registered PhD students attending the conference will be invited to submit a poster. These posters will be displayed throughout the event so that all conference delegates will have a chance to view them, and they will be made available via the WISERD and Wales DTC websites following the conference; with the permission of the author.

We are also sponsoring the Three Minute Thesis Challenge with the later deadline of 1 June 2016.
