Deadline: Wednesday 30 November 2016
This year’s ESRC Writing Competition ‘Making Sense of Society’, in partnership with SAGE Publishing, challenges ESRC-funded students to write about how your research is making sense of society and why your research matters. The judges will be looking for an original article of no more than 800 words, written at a level that an interested member of the public could understand, while conveying the importance of the research topic.
The winner will receive a cash prize of £1,000, and two runners up will be awarded prizes of £500 each. Entries are invited from ESRC-funded students (current or from the past four years). Entries must be received by 4pm on the day of the deadline.
Full information about the competition, including entry terms and conditions can be found on the ESRC website.
