Place: University of Bath, Bath.

The National Centre for Research Methods is organising the 7th ESRC Research Methods Festival. The themes of the festival are: international knowledge exchange; cohort and longitudinal methods; analysis of complex data sets; pedagogy of methods; and careers and skills development. Keynote speakers include:

  • Professor Jane Elliott, Chief Executive of ESRC
  • Professor Emeritus Aaron Cicourel, University of California in conversation with Professor Malcolm Williams (Cardiff); Dr. Emma Uprichard (Warwick), Dr. Robin Smith (Cardiff), Professor Roberto Franzosi (Emory) and Professor Paul Atkinson (Cardiff)
  • Professor Andrew Gelman, Columbia University

The Festival organisers encourage research students attending to exhibit a poster about their research. The winning poster will be awarded a £150 book token with book tokens to the value of £75 and £50 for the runners up
