10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Tuesday 6 June 2017
Place: Glamorgan Building, Cardiff University, Cardiff.
Wales DTP students Jess Abrahams and Annabel Wilson are running this BSA Post Graduate Forum Regional Event which engages with issues of race inequality in higher education through unpacking the deeply embedded structures and practices which work to produce and maintain racial inequality. Keynote speakers Dr Kehinde Andrews and Dr Nicola Rollock will address these problematics whilst also reflecting on their own experiences as ‘successful’ academics of colour and offer advice for how students of colour can ‘survive’ in these institutions.
Lunch, refreshments and a wine reception will be provided. The registration fee is £10 for BSA members, and £25 for non-members. Register online.
