All day, Thursday 21 April 2016

Place: The Cathie Marsh Institute for Social Research, Manchester.

The course begins with a general consideration of, and practical work with models for data collected on two occasions, including differences in differences and Lord’s Paradox. Next there is a session on extensions to more than two occasions, focussing on the different regression lines that can be estimated. Then there will be a session considering random and fixed effects models in detail, again linked to a practical session.

Further details on the National Centre for Research Methods website. Cost £30 for UK/EU registered students, book via the Southampton online store.
