The AHRC and ESRC are inviting students to a showcase of funded fellowship opportunities for PhD students through their International Placement Scheme at world-leading international research institutions. ESRC students are only eligible to visit the Library of Congress, Washington D.C., the largest library in the world. International Placement Scheme fellowships run for up to six months and include a travel and living stipend; unparalleled access to collections, facilities, curators and other scholars; and opportunities to present work, network and make international contacts.

Another showcase will take place in Westminster on 2 November. There is also an International Placement Scheme Twitter chat with fellows, alumni and AHRC staff from 2 – 3pm on Wed 11 November on the hashtag #AHRCIPS (follow @ahrcpress for more information).
