As part of a new scheme for ESRC Post-Doctoral Fellowships, we are delighted to offer fellowships to seven outstanding applicants who will take up the posts from October.
The ESRC awarded four fellowships to the Wales DTP, with a further three then awarded on condition that at least one of these was aligned with the Industrial Strategy. All applications were considered by a shortlisting panel comprising members of the DTP Management Board and an external assessor (Dr David Mills, Director of the Grand Union DTP at Oxford). Those shortlisted were invited to interview last month.
Each of the new Fellows will be associated with a DTP pathway: Human Geography for Anna Pigott (based at Swansea) and Samantha Saville (based at Aberystwyth); Linguistics for Katy Brickley and Judith Reynolds (both at Cardiff), Psychology for Denlu Cen and George Tackley (both at Cardiff) and Social Work & Social Care for Martin Elliott (based at Cardiff).
Congratulations to all seven!
