The Sustainable Places Research Institute is launching a new Sustainability Science Summer School 24-28 June this year. The Summer School will provide a unique and high quality research training forum for interdisciplinary doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in the field of sustainability science and place-making.

It will give PhD students exposure to high quality research being conducted on sustainability from across the sciences, the opportunity to learn from these research experiences and practices and to share common experiences in both researching and writing work which can lead to high quality outputs and dissemination outlets.  It aims to serve a wide range of student interests and career plans not just those that consider themselves to be working in the field of sustainability.

There will be half day sessions covering some of the key frontiers of the field focussing on research practice and writing and disseminating sustainability research.  The sessions will be a mixture of informal talks by the leaders, workshops, group discussions and presentations.
