The Tyndall Centre’s Annual PhD Conference “Climate Transitions Connecting People, Planet and Place” is now less than a couple of weeks away. The hashtag for discussion on Twitter is #TyndallPhDConf and the conference takes place from 3rd-5th April 2013 at Cardiff University.
The keynote speech will be given by Professor James Scourse, director of the Climate Change Consortium for Wales. It will be delivered in the Wallace Lecture Theatre in Cardiff University’s Main Building on Wednesday 3rd April from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM and it is entitled “The last five years: evidence for a climate transition”.
The panel debate on Friday 5th April, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, takes place in the Stanley Paris Lecture Theatre, Tower Building. The panel – Dr Roberta Sonnino, Dr Steve Melia and Dr Richard Cowell – will discuss ‘Do climate change researchers have a responsibility to lead sustainable lives?’
