The Cabinet Office (CO) is looking for two quantitative analysts with experience of handling large datasets (such as Understanding Society or the Labour Force Survey) to inform policy delivery.  This may provide an opportunity for research staff, post-docs or PhD students. An ESRC funded student would have to suspend their studentship if they were successful in obtaining this post.
